Understanding Your Skin type
Knowing your skin type is crucial for managing sun exposure and achieving a healthy tan. The way our skin reacts to UV rays is determined by its melanin content, which is responsible for our skin color. More melanin provides greater natural protection against the sun, but also affects how easily and evenly our skin tans.

OUR UV BEDS
LAYDOWN | LEVEL 2
ROOM 1
ERGOLINE 250
15 MINUTE MAX.
95% UVA / 5% UVB
A Level 2 bed is ideal for individuals who have already built a base tan. and are looking to maintain or deepen their tan. Our level 2 bed has a higher UV output than our level 1 bed, allowing for a slightly quicker tanning process.
LAYDOWN | LEVEL 1
ROOM 3
TAN AMERICA SANTA BARBARA
20 MINUTE MAX.
95% UVA / 5% UVB
Level 1 tanning beds typically have lower UV intensity compared to higher-level beds. This allows beginners a balancing approach to tanning that gradually helps build a base tan without overwhelming the skin.
STAND UP | LEVEL 2
ROOM 2
PROSUN V5
12 MINUTE MAX.
95% UVA / 5% UVB
UV stand up beds require a client to stand during the tanning session. They have twice more bulbs than a UV Laydown bed providing an even 360 degree exposure. Both types of beds can be effective, and the choice between them often comes down to personal preference and specific tanning goals.
